Esta es mi versión de la Última Cena, en definitiva mi gran trabajo del año.
Había hecho una el 2005 como regalo pa' mi abuela, pero en noviembre del 2007 decidi quitársela para mejorarla...el resultado fue un larguísimo proceso, lento y detallista, en el que terminé pintando una obra 700% mejor encima de la primera versión. la terminé el 10 de diciembre del presente, y ahora está enmarcadita, lista para su regreso triunfal esta navidad.

Acrílico sobre trupán, 25 x 70 cms.

This is my version of Da Vinci's Last supper.
It's painted over the first version that I realized in 2005. This new version took me one year! (Excess of details!) and now it's finished.
It will be a Christmas gift for my grandmother!

I always wondered: you can't really see much in the original painting, but did John really look that effeminate? It's a silly question and a bit off topic but the way you drew him was the first thing that caught my attention, so I had to ask.
Lovely interpretation, the faces are a bit naive but your sense of capturing the lighting and the colors of the original is most impressive :nod:
